How to submit a local news story

Submitting a local news story needs to meet the criteria below:

  • Please keep it short.
    Most local news stories we publish are around 180 words, so please keep your news story short and concise.

  • We don’t always have time to chase up missing information.
    Please make sure you include all relevant details: names, dates, times, any costs, contact details.

  • Deadlines.
    Please note our copy deadlines below. If you’ve missed the deadline then please still submit your story as we could still publish on our website and share some stories on social media.
